Requirements:

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and specification manuals
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments (calipers, gauges, micrometers)
• Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
• Ability to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair assembled products
• Ability to follow safety procedures and quality standards
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills

Job Duties:

• Assemble mechanical components and systems according to blueprints and specifications
• Position, align, and install components manually or with hoists
• Inspect, operate, and test completed products to verify functionality and customer specifications
• Set and verify part clearances during assembly
• Rework, repair, and replace damaged parts or assemblies as needed
• Assemble gear systems by aligning and meshing gears in gearboxes
• Verify parts against stock lists and blueprints using calipers, gauges, and micrometers
• Install piping, fixtures, wiring, and electrical components using hand tools, rivet guns, and welding equipment
• Remove rough edges and finish parts using hand and power tools
• Maintain and lubricate parts and components to ensure proper operation
