Details Main MRI unit in an acute care hospital setting 4x10-hour evening shifts, Tuesday through Friday, from 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM Charting in Epic EMR On-call rotation is approximately once per month, spanning Monday through Monday; weeknight call hours are 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, and weekend call hours are 7:00 AM–7:00 AM the following day On-call techs are required to cover weekend daytime shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) in the event of a call-in Call-back is rare, averaging 2–4 times per month total 6-week contract Requirements Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience Active BLS certification required; pending certifications are not accepted ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required; pending certifications are not accepted Familiarity with Philips 1.5T and 3T MRI systems required A Texas license is not required for this position; license required if applicable Driver's license required for consideration 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Additional Information Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered Daily parking is approximately $15/day, with monthly pass options ranging from $95–$120 for on- and off-campus garages and lots 12-hour orientation included American Traveler Job ID P-716582.
