This includes bringing the OTG culture to life across every touchpoint, driving exceptional restaurant and market operations, maintaining high facility standards, ensuring compliance with airport safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements, and leading the hiring, development, and growth of top crewmember talent.The Airport Director at IAH is accountable for driving business results in support of operational goals, ensuring budgetary goals, initiating and leading operational changes, and assisting Team Leaders/General Managers in implementing changes that bring positive results. The Airport Director is ultimately responsible for ensuring a positive experience for OTG guests and crewmembersIn This Role, You Will:Set the vision and goals for the terminal, and inspire all crewmembers (salaried and hourly) to be "all-in" in the accomplishment of these goalsImplement strategies that drive budgetary goals, for initiating and leading operational changes, and assist all operations in implementing changes and resultsEnsure all crewmembers have the necessary information, tools, and resources to deliver a great guest experienceServe as a point of contact to the traveling public, resolving issues as neededCultivate and strengthen relationships with airport leadership, including the airlines, management, companies, and other governmental or regulatory agenciesAccountable for driving business results in support of operational goalsResponsible for ensuring professional development and performance management of all salaried crewmembersProvides a workplace free from hazards, following all safety policies set forth by the company, and conforming to any laws and regulations related to the workplaceContinuously improve the crewmember experience using OTG culture and valuesDevelop oneself to take full responsibility for an airport terminal when training has been completedQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in Hospitality, Business, or Culinary Arts5 to 7 years of Director/Multiunit experience in a high-quality hospitality environmentDemonstrated results in creating a high-performance workplace through cultural leadership that sustains resultsMinimum of 5 years of management experience in high-volume multi-unit operationsMinimum of 5 years of management experience in alcoholic beverage serviceProficient knowledge of P&L, budgeting, and forecastingKnowledge of marketing techniques and their impact on business resultsExperience in guest relations, negotiations, and resolving complaintsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCommitment to service of guests and all crewmembersHigh integrity, work ethic, passion, and commitment to OTG valuesAble to train, delegate, coach, and develop managers and crewmembersKnowledge of or certification in adherence to safety and food sanitation, as well as responsible alcohol serviceAble to work flexible hours, days, and shifts including holidaysAble to clear OTG background checks as well as any requirements to obtain airport badgesThis hiring process may use AI‑assisted tools to support candidate evaluation; you will receive required notices and retain all rights under applicable state and local laws, and all hiring decisions are made by human reviewersEqual Opportunity EmployerWe're proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
