A well-established international law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join its Houston, TX office. This is a great opportunity for an experienced litigation paralegal who enjoys working on complex matters in a fast-paced law firm environment and wants exposure to high-level litigation work.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Additional hours as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 6 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm setting
• Strong experience with Westlaw, Lexis, and PACER
• Experience handling discovery, document review, and trial prep
• Strong understanding of court filings and deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred:

• Trial, arbitration, or mediation experience
• Experience with Relativity or other eDiscovery platforms
• Experience with legal case management software such as OPUS 2
• ABA-approved paralegal certificate preferred

What You'll Do:

• Cite checking and proofreading briefs and legal documents
• Managing discovery and document review
• Preparing deposition and witness materials
• Conducting factual and legal research
• Creating chronologies, exhibits, charts, and case summaries
• Coordinating filings and ensuring deadlines are met
• Assisting attorneys during trial, arbitration, or mediation
• Working closely with litigation support and eDiscovery teams
