Dispatcher

The dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and supporting shipping, receiving, and logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials. This role works closely with internal teams, vendors, and customers to verify orders, track shipments, manage inventory, and arrange transportation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently while identifying and resolving issues as they arise.

Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate and arrange transportation for incoming and outgoing shipments
  2. Verify orders, inventory levels, and shipment details for accuracy
  3. Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading
  4. Track shipments and provide updates on delivery status to customers and internal teams
  5. Reconcile shipped and received quantities and report any discrepancies
  6. Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipment activity
  7. Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations
  8. Anticipate delivery needs and expedite orders when required
  9. Identify issues in shipping or inventory processes and assist in resolving them
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or dispatching
  • Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred
  • Must be okay with working night shift from 6pm - 6am.
  • Familiarity with bills of lading, shipping documents, and inventory tracking
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and manage multiple tasks
  • Good communication skills and ability to provide clear updates to stakeholders
  • Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, fit for duty and agility.
