Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule imaging appointments, ensuring optimal use of facility resources and timely patient care.

• Insurance Verification: Confirm insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments; communicate coverage details to patients as needed.

• Appointment Management: Monitor the schedule daily to identify cancellations and proactively backfill open slots to maintain efficiency.

• Patient Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for patients-answering calls, responding to inquiries, and providing clear, empathetic guidance.

• Data Entry & Record Keeping: Accurately input patient information into the electronic medical record (EMR) system and maintain up-to-date records.

• Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists, technologists, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient flow and coordination.

• Customer Service: Provide a warm, welcoming environment for patients and their families, addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism.

• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in a healthcare or medical office setting, preferably in radiology or imaging services.

• Knowledge: Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance processes, and HIPAA regulations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
