JOB DESCRIPTION:
To promote the development of articulation, voice, fluency and language skills according to each student's Individualized Educational Plans (IEP).
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Follow guidance from supervisor to implement treatment/goals and conduct therapy session in both English and Spanish
2. Implement the IEP goals approved by the ARD Committee
3. To maintain a positive relationship with supervisor, students and all school staff
4. Maintain required data collection/therapy logs.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.
6. Maintain confidentiality.
7. Maintain regular attendance.
8. May require flexibility to travel to multiple campuses.

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in public school speech-language therapy

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Current (or in progress) state license as a speech language pathology assistant through the Texas Department of Licensing Regulations (TDLR)

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Knowledge in all areas of speech development and treatment of speech-language disorders
• Skills in working with campus staff, administrators and parents
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Spanish

PAY GRADE: AE - 1 - Minimum pro-rated salary $54,830
