Job Summary:
Set-up and operate compression molding presses to fabricate
rubber and rubber-to-metal bonded parts.
Responsibilities:
Operate compression molding presses including loading of parts,
operating controls, and inspecting parts for conformance to
company and customer specifications, policies, and procedures.
Study and interpret drawings, shop manuals, and specifications to
determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces,
sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Must possess basic math skills, including but not limited to adding,
subtracting, multiplication and division in all units of measure.
Must have some command of blueprint reading including an
understanding of engineering drawings and customer
specifications.
