Pride Health is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to support our clients in The Woodlands, TX 77384. This is a 3 month contract (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

8a-5pm 1 hour lunch.

Duration

3 months Contract (Possibilities of extension or conversion).

Payrate

$23-25/hr. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Responsibilities-

• Schedule surgical procedures for a high-volume OBGYN department
• Coordinate surgical case details with physicians, staff, and external facilities
• Submit referrals and prior authorizations for surgical cases
• Review insurance eligibility and interpret medical plan benefits
• Create and review patient estimates prior to surgery
• Collect surgical fees and document payments accurately
• Manage work queues and follow up on pending authorizations
• Provide administrative and clerical support for physicians and leadership
• Utilize EPIC and other systems for scheduling, documentation, and reporting

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years of general administrative experience AND 2 years of medical insurance verification experience OR operative procedure scheduling experience.
