Supply Chain is a customer-focused Center of Excellence providing industry-leading service while delivering differential value to the business, today and into the future. We separate our Supply Chain functions into several areas; these include logistics, customer fulfillment, services, trade compliance, and support for business processes and systems.
As a member of our dynamic Supply Chain team, you will play a critical role in helping us supply our products to a global customer base. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate, strategic, and real-time inventory positions for your assigned business area, utilizing analytical and forecasting tools to understand challenges and present solutions to the business and North America Supply Chain organization.
This position may support the Intermediates & Derivatives (I&D) or Olefins business and will be located in Downtown Houston at our North American headquarters. Proactively manage inventory using mid- to long-term demand forecasts, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and business strategy; includes oversight of third-party storage, exchange agreements, and in-transit inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and service reliability.
Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound/outbound product movements across multiple locations and transportation modes.
Coordinate daily activities with third-party and tolling facilities, serving as a key liaison between the business, operations planning, and suppliers; additionally, provide support for system-related questions and access requests, and actively participate in KPI meetings to ensure alignment with performance metrics and strategic goals.
Build and establish relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders, clearly understand network, transportation and operations.
Communicate effectively across internal/external teams to provide updates and resolve issues.
Lead problem-solving efforts for time-sensitive needs and service incidents, driving root cause analysis and resolution.
