We are looking for dedicated Cruise Ship Housekeeping Attendants for our upcoming 2026 season. This temporary role allows you to be an integral part of our shipboard hotel team that is committed to delivering exceptional hospitality and representing our esteemed brand. This is an exciting opportunity to work onboard for 28 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain an inviting, clean, and safe environment for our guests.
  • Ensure the comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, public facilities, and common areas throughout the ship.
  • Recognize guests by name and promptly address all housekeeping inquiries and requests in alignment with American Cruise Lines' service standards.
  • Perform floor maintenance duties, including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.
  • Organize inventory and restock linens and supplies as necessary.
  • Swiftly and safely clean spills and report any maintenance issues to management.
  • Manage waste collection and disposal responsibly.
  • Care for upholstered furniture and maintain lounge areas.
  • Build genuine relationships with guests and efficiently cater to housekeeping requests.
  • Participate in guest interactions, including greetings at embarkation and assisting with events like afternoon tea and cocktail parties.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be at least eighteen (18) years old and a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder. You should be prepared to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks. Candidates must be able to meet moderate physical requirements, including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing or walking for extended periods.

As required by federal regulations, all shipboard employees will undergo pre-employment drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana and controlled substances. To ensure guest safety, alcohol consumption on duty is strictly prohibited. All crew members will also receive training in emergency and safety procedures critical for ship operations.

American Cruise Lines enforces grooming standards, including restrictions on visible tattoos and piercings. This position is temporary and will not exceed 28 weeks of shipboard work.
