About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and innovative Director of Executive Operations to lead our efforts in improving military family life. This is a key role for someone who thrives in solving complex challenges, building collaborations across sectors, and making military families feel at home no matter where they are stationed. You will have comprehensive strategic and operational responsibility for our organization's staff, programs, budget, and mission execution.

Your responsibilities will include engaging with the local board, fostering relationships with VIPs, driving fundraising initiatives, creating compelling narratives for our work, overseeing program management, and actively building community ties. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field or have 7+ years of relevant experience, showcasing a successful track record in fundraising alongside 5-10 years of management experience.

We seek a strong leader with exceptional management skills who can effectively engage with diverse groups. A genuine passion for our mission is essential. You will be responsible for nurturing a robust and engaged local Advisory Board and coaching an enthusiastic team of volunteers. Experience in community relations, development, and familiarity with military family dynamics are highly valued.

This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, adaptability, and an innovative approach to business planning. You should be skilled at connecting with potential partners to foster community-based solutions. Exceptional communication, marketing, and public relations skills are crucial, paired with a commitment to integrity and a positive, mission-driven attitude.
