Summary/Purpose of the Position:

The Label Finishing Operator operates and maintains label finishing equipment, ensuring high-quality finished products and timely completion of projects. This role requires basic knowledge of label finishing processes and equipment, with a focus on learning and developing skills.

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain label finishing equipment
• Follow established procedures and best practices for label finishing
• Ensure high-quality output in line with company standards and customer requirements
• Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of basic technical issues related to label finishing processes and equipment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction
• Adhere to safety protocols, ensuring a safe work environment
• Indirectly and directly responsible for product quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ years of experience in label finishing or a related field, or equivalent training
• Basic knowledge of label finishing processes and equipment
• Attention to detail and a focus on quality
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to continuous learning and development

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
• Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local regulations
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. when necessary
