Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities

• Address daily quality concerns and questions
• Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and quality issues
• Work closely with operation teams to ensure process controls are in place and adequate to meet standard requirements
• Ensure any non?conforming product is properly identified, quarantined and communicated
• Examine material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and incomplete welds
• Verify specified dimensions of product or material
• Conduct incoming material inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection to procedures, specifications, drawings, samples, or illustrations
• Follow instructions and work independently
• Clean, organize, and set up workstations
• Kit or group required parts per job requirements
• Multi?task efficiently around the shop

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing quality environment
• College degree preferred (Associates/Bachelors in a related field)
• Tooling experience needed
• Computer?capable
• Able to stand, walk, squat, and move for 8+ hours each day
