Join our team as an Industrial Electrician at Reading Truck, where you will play a crucial role in the construction, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of essential electrical and electronic systems in an industrial setting.

Your Impact on the Team:

• Conduct inspections, maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of various electromechanical, control, lighting, wiring, communication, and solid-state equipment using advanced electrical test equipment and hand tools.
• Install new electrical and electronic systems following the National Electrical Code and our internal electrical standards.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Prepare, install, and assemble conduits and wiring efficiently.
• Perform medium voltage switching (up to 600 volts) and operate generators to support operational needs.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints accurately maintaining and updating documentation as required.
• Adhere to proper clearance standards and comply with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Follow lockout/tag out procedures as specified by company policy.
• Collaborate safely and effectively with team members to achieve operational goals.

Your Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of methods, equipment, and materials utilized in the electrical trade.
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Proficiency in applicable laws, codes, and regulations related to electrical work.
• Solid grasp of electronic theory pertaining to circuits and electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of the operation and programming of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to analyze situations accurately and take effective action.
• Experience working from blueprints and sketches with minimal supervision.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers.
• Experience in installing, programming, and troubleshooting PLC-based systems.
