Foresite Commercial Real Estate is excited to announce an opening for a Senior Commercial Property Accountant to enhance the financial operations of our managed properties. This essential role is key in ensuring precise financial reporting and compliance, while aiding property managers in maximizing the profitability of our diverse portfolio.

While we prefer this position to be based in San Antonio, we also offer flexibility in our Austin office. For exceptionally qualified candidates in Dallas or Houston, remote or hybrid arrangements may be considered.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of accounting principles, with substantial experience in commercial real estate, particularly in retail. You will be responsible for generating financial statements, keeping accurate financial records, and providing in-depth analyses of property performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and evaluate monthly financial statements and reports for retail properties.
• Support the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, delivering insights into financial performance.
• Conduct account reconciliations and guarantee the accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
• Collaborate with property management teams to assist in operational and financial decision-making.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience in commercial real estate, with a concentration on retail properties preferred.
• Solid grasp of financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
• Proficient in accounting software and advanced skills in MS Excel; familiarity with Yardi and Appfolio is essential.
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, demonstrating the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
