Join CDM Smith in a pivotal leadership role as our Water Reuse Projects Discipline Leader. This role is tailored for an innovative professional eager to make an impact on the planning, design, and implementation of essential drinking water and water reuse projects. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a talented strategy team dedicated to enhancing our firm's reputation and expertise in the industry through active engagement in professional societies and publication efforts.
As a key member of the CDM Smith team, you will spearhead initiatives that leverage advanced treatment technologies, refine our technical prowess, mentor the next generation of engineers, and drive significant business growth. You will engage closely with Practice Leaders, other Discipline Leaders, and engineering teams to deliver outstanding solutions while maintaining effective communication with clients, project engineers, and vendors.
Main responsibilities include:
Certification/License Requirements: Professional Engineer
Minimum Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field; a Professional Engineer (PE) license; and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. A willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally is essential, depending on project needs. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Skills and Abilities: Candidates must have strong expertise in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software, engineering principles, Microsoft software, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations is essential.
