Position Responsibilities May include:
  • Implementation of Lean-Kaizen projects: including application of lean tools to eliminate waste, workstation design, trial runs execution and support, plant organizing, markings and labels, process analysis like time studies, documentation, presentations
  • Lead and participate on Kaizen workshops, training sessions, committee projects, and other activities needed to improve KPIs and support the continuous improvement with a systemic approach
  • Educate, coach, and challenge process owners in the use of lean and problem-solving tools, approaches, and techniques to create and improve processes in our operation
  • Drive safety, quality, and efficiency measures through proactive problem resolution, follow-up, and standardization
  • Analyzes processes, workforce utilization, facility layout, and operational data to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Support, define, and implement work standards
  • Data collection systems/process design and implementation as required
  • Data analysis for metric tracking, improvement, and metric generation, including statistical approach
  • If needed: Ability to operate heavy and light-duty material handling equipment (tugger, forklift, reach truck) or open to developing skills and competency to operate Material Handling Equipment
  • Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs

Experience:
  • 0-1 years in a manufacturing-related environment/position
Education/Certification:
  • High School Diploma or GED
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
  • Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations

Reports to:

Director/Sr. Manager/Manager/Engineer; Assembly, Materials, Fabrication or Continuous Improvement
