We are looking for an Application Support Manager to lead the strategy, implementation, maintenance, and support of our organization's software applications to ensure they meet business needs, enhance efficiency and align with business goals. This person will also mentor and lead a team of IT business analysts and manage vendor relationships.

Compensation: $150k+

Job type: Full-Time (Must be Fully Authorized for work in the US without Sponsorship or Special Conditions)

Location: Houston, Texas (Must be Physically Located in Houston at the time of interview)

Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of application specialists, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring effective project delivery
  • Work with stakeholders, IT teams, and business units to define requirements, support new initiatives, and resolve complex issues
  • Establish support processes, provide escalation support, and ensure comprehensive user training and documentation.
  • Manage and oversee software deployments and integrations, coordinate resources and act as a liaison between the development team and other departments and project stakeholders
  • Evaluate application programs for efficiency and documentation, and ensure that output meets the needs of users and business goals
  • Establish software project standards and procedures, and implement best practices for delivering scalable and high-quality solutions
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years' experience in software application management, IT operations, and team leadership.
  • Strong technical skills in database management, networking, and enterprise applications.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and SDLC
  • Knowledge in Dynamics Business Central
