Job Description

Hire Up Staffing is hiring a Staff Accountant/Accounting Clerk to support core accounting functions and ensure accurate financial records. This role is responsible for transactional accounting, reconciliations, and close support within a fast-paced environment.

Pay-$25/hr.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with audit preparation and respond to data requests
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
  • Perform general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare, review, and post routine accounting entries
  • Process and track accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Monitor account activity and resolve discrepancies
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal partners regarding balances and payments
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
  • Follow established accounting procedures and internal controls
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of professional accounting experience
  • Practical experience using QuickBooks required
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and basic Microsoft Office tools
  • Self-directed with the ability to complete work independently
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
