Position Details As an
Accounting Administrator at IMT Residential, you will play an important role in supporting the community's financial health and delivering an exceptional resident experience. You will handle a mix of administrative, bookkeeping, and customer service responsibilities while collaborating closely with the Community Manager, Assistant Community Manager, and Leasing Team. You'll be a key team member, helping to maintain accurate records, resolve resident account concerns, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
In this role, you will: - Maintain and review resident ledgers to ensure accuracy
- Track rent payments and assist with month-end financial procedures
- Reconcile petty cash and support other on-site funds management
- Monitor delinquent accounts and issue late notices
- Assist with the collections process and support legal coordination
- Provide outstanding customer service to residents regarding account and billing concerns
- Assist the Community Manager and Assistant Community Manager with operational and financial tasks
- Support the Leasing Team with application processing, marketing efforts, and community tours as needed
- Use MRI software to enter data and generate reports
- Keep community records and files organized and up to date
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support the team
Please apply if you have: - Experience in bookkeeping, administrative support, or customer service; property management experience is required
- The ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
- Comfort using Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn property management software like MRI
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- A positive attitude and a desire to grow within a professional and fast-paced environment
- A college education in business or a related field (preferred)
- Availability to work occasional weekends based on business needs
- A valid driver's license
