POSITION SUMMARY
Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Research, Technology and Development, the Project Engineer will work across all disciplines and departments of the organization to support and implement process development and continual improvement projects that align with strategic business goals and objectives. The Project Engineer functions as a project manager, using six sigma principles methodology and LEAN tools to identify, lead and complete projects that materially enhance customer satisfaction, employee fulfillment, turnaround time, defect reduction, process improvement, and effectiveness improvements as measured by Company Key Performance Indicators (KPI). This position requires the ability to adapt, and tailor Lean Six Sigma tools to the unique regulatory, scientific, and quality requirements of a forensic operation. The position is ideal for candidates who have Lean or Six Sigma experience, strong problem?solving skills, and who are eager to apply continuous improvement principles in a scientific, non?manufacturing environment.
The position requires a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. Direct relevant work experience in the performance of required duties or required certification may be considered in lieu of the degree.
