In our specialized tax services, you will focus on delivering unique tax solutions to clients in complex and niche areas including accounting methods, fixed assets, and research and development tax credits. You'll play a vital role in leading teams to achieve project success while continuously motivating and inspiring those around you. Your leadership will be essential in coaching team members, leveraging their unique strengths, and managing performance effectively to exceed client expectations.

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing and identifying connections within complex systems.

The Opportunity

As a part of the Corporate Tax - Specialized Tax Services team, you will bring exceptional technical knowledge and industry insights. You will lead teams, manage client accounts, and focus on strategic planning while mentoring junior team members. Your role will be crucial in maintaining high standards and motivating your team to deliver exceptional work. You will also work closely with clients on the latest technologies in lending, digital banking, payments, crypto and blockchain, as well as insurance and real estate.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Strategically managing client accounts.
  • Coaching and mentoring junior team members to enhance their skills.
  • Maintaining rigorous standards to ensure project success.
  • Inspiring the team to consistently deliver high-quality results.
  • Actively identifying opportunities to further the firm's goals.
  • Integrating technology and innovation into your service delivery.
  • Collaborating with clients on cutting-edge technologies and platforms.

What You Must Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Taxation, Accounting, Engineering, Sustainable Resource Management, Environmental Health/Engineering, or Computer and Information Science.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience.

What Sets You Apart

  • Fundamental accounting knowledge.
  • Understanding of the Inflation Reduction Act and CHIPs Act of 2022.
  • Expertise in fixed asset tax depreciation methods.
  • Experience conducting cost segregation studies.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • A proven track record of understanding and addressing client needs.
  • Knowledge of automation and digitization in professional services.
  • Experience in supervising teams and fostering a culture of trust.
  • Possession of one of the following: CPA, membership in State Bar, Enrolled Agent, Master's in Engineering, or Professional Engineer status.

Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $266,000, depending on individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable employment laws. All employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and a range of benefits.
