Your Role at KIK
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. This role performs routine inspections, mechanical repairs, line changeovers, and basic plumbing and pneumatic work. The technician supports continuous production by identifying equipment issues, completing repairs in a timely manner, and communicating concerns to plant leadership while adhering to all safety and housekeeping standards.
This is a 3rd shift position Monday-Friday with the hours of 9:00pm-5:30am and OT needed as required.
Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing
- Inspects, monitors, and tests machinery and equipment.
- Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Develop sufficient understanding of all machinery used in the production process to ensure proper functioning procedures.
- Adheres to all safety rules and regulations and maintains good housekeeping in all related areas.
- Performs line changeovers to different products, including set-up of dilution system to proper specs.
- Notifies Production Manager and Plant Manager of any equipment problems. As well as analyzing and resolving equipment problems or assisting others in solving problems in a helpful and timely manner.
- Experience with pluming repair.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. This position has a base salary range of $34-41.2/hr.
