POSITION SUMMARY

As a Watercraft Maintenance Technician, you will be pivotal in ensuring the safety and performance of various boats and marine equipment at OneWater Marine. Your responsibilities will include performing maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and installations with precision and efficiency, contributing to exceptional customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Conduct maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades on multiple types of boats, ensuring all services are executed competently and professionally.
2. Collaborate with various departments, including parts and service, to prioritize and address customer inquiries effectively.
3. Thoroughly document all service work completed, detailing parts used, labor hours, and other crucial information. Provide customers with comprehensive records of services performed.
4. Handle all boats with utmost care throughout the service process.
5. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment while adhering to safety protocols to ensure a secure workplace.
6. Participate in relevant service training to stay updated with industry trends, tools, and technologies.
7. Assist with various events, including boat shows, as necessary.
8. Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred proven experience as a marine technician or in a similar role.
• Marine Technician certification(s) and manufacturer certification (Boat or Engine) are advantageous.
• Possession of a current and valid driver's license.
• Solid understanding of marine systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment is preferred.
