FieldBridge Energy seeks a Chicago, IL - based Field Service Technician to work for a global technology company that provides engineered services and products primarily to the offshore energy, defense, aerospace, and maritime industries. Weekly pay + benefits.

Pay / Schedule: $28-30/hr. Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm. At $30/hr for 40 hours, for example, earn a weekly paycheck of $1,200 gross.

We're seeking a skilled Service Technician to support automated guided vehicle (AGV) systems at healthcare and industrial facilities. This field-based role combines hands-on electromechanical work with software troubleshooting to keep robotic systems running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

• Install, maintain, and repair AGV mobile robotic systems at customer sites
• Travel regularly across North America (60-75%) to provide on-site technical support
• Perform electrical wiring, hardware assembly, and system calibration
• Configure and update AGV software and PLC systems
• Diagnose technical issues using diagnostic tools and system analysis
• Document all service activities and maintain detailed records
• Provide technical guidance to customer teams

What You Need:

• 2-3 years of electromechanical service/maintenance experience
• Experience with customer-facing technical support
• Proficiency with electrical wiring and hand tools
• Comfortable with software configuration and PLC systems
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel 60-75%
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Microsoft Office proficiency

Preferred:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Science
• Experience with automation systems integration
• Knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and Linux systems
• PLC programming and diagnostic software experience
• Soldering certification
