Events Sales Manager

The Post Oak Hotel is seeking an Events Sales Manager to join the only double Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. This role involves soliciting, negotiating, and securing new and repeat catering business. Responsibilities include prospecting, networking, researching events, and maintaining relationships with current accounts to ensure repeat programs. The Events Sales Manager will also develop menus and agendas, ensure BEOs are issued, and complete all pertinent correspondence with outside vendors to finalize programs. They will work with the operations team and meet and greet in-house guests upon arrival.

Qualifications include at least five years of previous hotel-related experience or related field, excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, strong catering and events experience, and the ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include the ability to lift 25 pounds on a regular basis and prolonged extended periods of sitting and/or standing.
