This position reports to: Project Operations Manager

In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

The work model for the role is: hybrid (#Li-Hybrid) in the Houston, TX or Lake Mary, FL office with estimated 25% travel.

In this role, the Warranty Project Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the warranty process for the projects within Electrification Solutions business. The Warranty Project Manager will be the main customer interface for all warranty claims, owning the process once initial claim is submitted to final resolution, including coordinating with internal and external vendors, as well as services where applicable by terms. This position will utilize your experience/expertise to solve problems and become a customer advocate to ensure minimal impact to customer operations.

Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Warranty Management & Customer Advocacy: Serve as primary customer contact for warranty issues, ensuring timely, accurate resolution and acting as a strong advocate for customer needs.
  • Claims Assessment & Coordination: Review and validate warranty claims per contractual terms, prioritize multiple cases, and coordinate with vendors, field technicians, and internal teams to minimize customer downtime.
  • Process Execution & Documentation: Manage purchase orders, maintain detailed project records, and ensure compliance with HSE standards while driving efficient warranty execution and continuous process improvements.
  • Analysis & Reporting: Collaborate with Quality teams to analyze warranty trends, performance, and costs, providing insights to enhance organizational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor degree (electrical/energy/mechanical engineering degree preferred) with minimum 3 years of experience (project management, engineering or manufacturing experience preferred)

  • Problem solving skills, including creative issue resolution and excellent oral and written communication skills, including proficiency in English

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret warranty claims vs coverage

  • Organizational skills with high attention to detail and sense of urgency in dealing with tasks, as well as customer service skills

  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
