Vice President of F&I Training

Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000 / year

Description

VP of Training team works together with their specified regions to drive training, performance, and measurable impact in our partner stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate programs through Roadshows and our in-office Academy, ensuring alignment with company standards and objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with field representatives to identify training needs and deliver tailored content to dealership personnel.
  • Develop and deliver training and development programs that support dealership and organizational goals.
  • Conduct expert-level F&I menu training to enhance sales effectiveness, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with the F&I VP to help acquire new accounts by presenting impact studies, conducting roadshows, and demonstrating measurable value.
  • Work with dealership management and the VP team to improve overall training outcomes and dealership performance.
  • Monitor performance trends that affect goal achievement and implement timely corrective actions.
  • Apply Situational Leadership techniques to coach, mentor, and motivate dealership teams and internal staff.
  • Support and promote Brightline's Online Academy to expand access to ongoing professional development opportunities.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Minimum of 3 years in F&I management with proven ability to leverage dealership expertise and relationships to influence training strategy.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically in F&I operations.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time for training events and dealership support.
  • Retail dealership experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of dealership operations and F&I processes.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated project and initiative management experience.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for teaching and developing others.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Strong team orientation with leadership and coaching capabilities.
