Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Receiving & Returns associate to join our team. You will share responsibilities in warehouse operations and ensure receiving, distribution, and return processing run smoothly and efficiently in a safe manner. Responsibilities include ensuring that inventory is organized and receiving is error-free. You will also assist in processing the returns that are received and classified according to status. The ideal candidate is highly organized and can work independently or as part of a team. You will need experience in warehouse operations or logistics, as well as team dynamics. Overtime and weekends as necessary. The ideal candidate is a team player with experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Responsibilities
• Check and verify incoming products to shipping docs and/or purchase orders. • Following protocols to receive and stock goods. • Process returns in a timely and efficient manner. • Classify returned goods for sale or destroy. • Assisting in picking, packing, and shipping orders during peak times. • Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. • Responding to logistic issues as needed. • Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and safety regulations. • Communicate with colleagues and company leadership to achieve business goals.
• Physical requirements: stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during a shift, plus the ability to lift up to 50 pounds (or more) as needed. • High school diploma/GED required, Associate's degree preferred • Valid Driver's License • Previous experience in warehouse or logistics is preferred • Familiarity with state and federal safety regulations • Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal • Computer skills in Outlook and Excel. • Warehouse management systems (ShipHawk) and/or SAP experience strongly preferred but not required.
