Construction Project Manager – Commercial

Location: Houston, TX

A reputable Commercial General Contractor in Houston is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their growing team. This firm specializes in ground-up commercial construction across K-12, Higher Education, Religious, and Medical sectors and has a strong, long-term project pipeline.

This role is well suited to an experienced Project Manager or a strong Assistant Project Manager ready to step up into a full PM position.

Please note: Multi-family or residential backgrounds will not be considered. Good tenures at previous companies also required

Key Responsibilities

• Manage ground-up commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, and owners
• Oversee schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
• Maintain clear communication with all project stakeholders

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial construction (K-12, education, religious, or medical preferred)
• Experience on ground-up commercial projects
• Open to Assistant Project Managers ready for career progression
• Strong tenure at previous employers – this client values stability and long-term commitment
• Solid understanding of construction processes and project controls
• Houston-based or willing to work locally
