Join Solstice Advanced Materials as a Master Black Belt and play a critical role in driving enterprise-wide Operational Excellence and digital transformation. This high-impact position leads the deployment of Lean Six Sigma strategies across manufacturing, R&D, supply chain, and commercial operations, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and P&L targets. You will serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader, mentoring and certifying Black, Green and Yellow Belts, facilitating advanced training workshops, and championing a culture of continuous improvement that delivers measurable business results.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in process improvement methodologies, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of influencing change in complex, matrixed environments—preferably within the advanced materials industry.
In this role, you will report to the Director of Operational Excellence and Digitalization, work on a hybrid schedule from either Morris Plains, NJ or Houston, TX, and travel 50–75% domestically to lead onsite training and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities
Develop, lead, and manage the LSS deployment strategy across manufacturing, R&D, supply chain (ISC) and commercial operations.
Align continuous improvement projects with strategic objectives and P&L targets
Serve as thought leader for Operational Excellence and initiative across the enterprise
Train, Mentor, Coach and Certify Black, Green and Yellow Belts to ensure successful execution of projects.
Facilitate advanced training workshops in Lean Six Sigma and Statistical methods.
Ensure quantifiable savings
Identify emerging technology and methodology to enhance business performance
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
Certification as a Master Black Belt or achieved within 18 months in role
10+ years of experience in Lean Six Sigma with 3-5 years as a Master Black Belt
Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma and Statistical tools
Strong communication skills
Strong track record and passion to train, coach and mentor others

The annual base salary range for this position is $160,000 – 210,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
