Description:
This role involves working in a Cardiac Cath Lab.
The unit includes 3 rooms and has 11 staff members.
On day shift, the unit consists of 1 charge tech, 4 techs, and 4 nurses working 4/10 hour shifts.
The night shift includes 3 on-call staff members.
Patient ratios are 3 staff per case.
The equipment used includes Philips and Siemens.
The EMR systems utilized are Meditech and MacLab.
Typical procedures performed in this unit are PVI, PPM, EPS, LHC, PCI, IR cases, and neuro procedures.
Candidates must be willing to educate young staff.
Floating may be required.
Wearing surgical scrubs provided by the unit is expected.
There may be some scheduled Saturday cases.
On-call duty consists of at least 12 shifts per month.
Candidates with EP Neuro experience are preferred.
