Job Summary

We are looking for a Human Resource Generalist to assist FEI System's human resource department operations, compliance requirements, and employee centric activities. This position will also support other day-to-day functions of our Corporate Office, which may include working with our legal/compliance, accounting, and operation teams.

Primary Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • This position will be a hybrid role with expectations of being in our corporate office 2-3 days a week, or as needed, based on business need.
  • Maintain accurate employment records by updating information for new hires, transfers, promotions, and separations.
  • Onboard new employees by creating their profiles and hosting orientation sessions to ensure a positive experience.
  • Communicate human resource policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new hires and current employees.
  • Assist with recruiting efforts including sourcing candidates and scheduling interviews.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, and company events.
  • Offer management ideas to develop and improve processes or procedures enhancing the effectiveness of Human Resource operations.
In addition to functions directly benefiting the Human Resource organization, this role will also support cross functional teams with the following activities.
  • Oversee office facility functions and maintenance services, which would include working with external vendors and service providers.
  • Facilitate office administration including monitoring mail services, coordination of notices with accounting or contracts department.
  • Supporting our contracting and compliance organization with various registrations
Required Experience / Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in a human resource administrative or related role.
  • Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and ability to multi-task.
  • Customer service orientated.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficient in a Human Resource Information System, such as UKG, ADP, etc., is a plus.
  • Proficient in using corporate banking platforms and services.
  • Proficient in scheduling executive calendars.

Location: Hybrid (Columbia, MD)
