This contractor is one of the most respected electrical contractors in the U.S, with nationwide operations. They support healthcare, commercial, mission-critical, transportation, and infrastructure markets nationwide.

Position Overview

The Electrical Project Executive will provide senior-level leadership, strategic direction, and full operational oversight for a $160M healthcare electrical project in the Houston market. This role requires an experienced electrical construction leader with deep healthcare experience and the ability to manage large, complex projects from preconstruction through closeout.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record delivering healthcare electrical projects while leading high-performing teams, managing risk, and maintaining strong relationships with owners, hospital systems, and general contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and oversight for a $160M healthcare electrical project
• Lead project execution from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives are achieved
• Partner with owners, healthcare systems, general contractors, architects, and engineers to develop and execute project strategies
• Oversee financial performance, forecasting, cost control, and risk management
• Mentor and manage Project Managers, Superintendents, and field leadership teams
• Support preconstruction planning, estimating, and constructability reviews
• Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical construction experience
• Extensive experience delivering large-scale healthcare electrical projects
• Proven success managing complex electrical scopes on projects valued at $50M+
• Strong background in hospitals, medical centers, and healthcare campuses
• Experience with design-build and design-assist delivery methods
• Demonstrated leadership, team development, and executive-level communication skills
