Overview

This newly created role supports a high-growth industrial logistics organization operating at full capacity. The Business Development Director is a senior, hunter-focused sales leader responsible for generating net-new business and driving revenue growth that supports continued expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and close new business within heavy industrial, logistics, and port-related sectors
  • Bring and leverage an existing book of business
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
  • Build long-term customer relationships and secure repeat business
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure profitable and operationally sound deals
  • Maintain pipeline reporting and sales forecasts

Candidate Profile

  • 15+ years of heavy industrial sales experience
  • Able to bring an existing book of business
  • Proven hunter with a strong record of new customer acquisition
  • Established regional industry relationships
  • Strong understanding of pricing, margins, and capacity-driven sales
  • Self-motivated and effective in fast-paced, growth environments
