Duties & responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them with their orders by providing prompt and friendly service.
• Prepare and serve deli items such as sandwiches, salads, meats, and cheeses.
• Slice meat and cheese using deli equipment like slicers and scales safely.
• Package and label prepared items accordingly.
• Maintain food safety standards and follow food handling guidelines.
• Keep the deli area clean and organized.
• Stock and rotate deli items to ensure freshness and prevention of spoilage.
• Assist meat cutters to marinate and prepare products for packaging.
• Keep showcase presentable by organizing and cleaning the area throughout the day.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
