Job Description
Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

License: MRT license required for radiological equipment in Texas
Certifications: Required certifications for specialty

Must-Have:
Candidates must have current experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Experience with peripherals is essential.
Experience in EP is a plus.

Description:
The unit has 4 procedural rooms and 14 recovery bays.
There are approximately 45 staff members in the unit.
Day shift consists of 3-4 staff members per procedural room.
Night shift is on-call with a 4-person team.
Patient ratios are 3-4 staff members per patient procedure.
Equipment includes Cath, EP, and lab EMR Merge-Hemo.
Typical procedures performed in the unit include: cardiac catheterization, IABP, thrombolytic infusion, pacemakers, stents, IVUS, angiograms, and implants among others.
Candidates with experience in IR, neuro IR, and cardiac intervention will be prioritized.
Dress code requires scrubs of any color provided by the facility.
Shoes must be black, white, or gray.
There is a requirement for call duty, which includes 2 nights per week and every other weekend.
This position offers opportunities to work with new equipment and technology.
