The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all warehouse activities, ensuring efficient material flow, accurate inventory management, and timely execution of inbound and outbound operations. This role supervises warehouse personnel, manages documentation and ERP transactions, and acts as a key interface between Logistics, Project Management, and the Shop/Production team. The Warehouse Team Lead drives operational excellence, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards.

As a Warehouse Team Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating daily warehouse operations and leading the warehouse team to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely execution of all activities.
  • Serving as the primary point of reference for all inbound and outbound material flows.
  • Overseeing, receiving, put away, picking, packing, and shipping processes, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Ensuring accurate documentation and timely uploading of all warehouse transactions into the ERP system.
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and continuous monitoring of material movements.
  • Collaborating closely with Logistics, Materials Planners, Project Managers, and the Shop/Production team to support material availability, project timelines, and production needs.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements in warehouse processes, workflows, and communication channels.
  • Providing guidance, training, and support to warehouse staff, fostering a safe, organized, and high-performance working environment.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing.
  • Have a strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Have excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Have a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability.
  • Have an ability to work independently and proactively identify process improvements.
  • Have flexibility, adaptability, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
  • Have proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a team lead or supervisory role.
  • Have a strong understanding of inbound/outbound processes, inventory management, and warehouse best practices.
  • Have experience with ERP systems and warehouse documentation workflows.
  • Have an ability to coordinate a team and manage daily operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
