A nationally recognized employer-side labor and employment law firm is seeking a highly experienced Employment & Labor Attorney to join its Houston office as a Partner. Portable Book: Minimum $500K+ in sustainable, portable business required
Role Overview
The firm is seeking an entrepreneurial partner-level attorney with strong employer-side relationships and a proven litigation and counseling background. Responsibilities include:
Managing administrative agency matters (EEOC, TWC, DOL, NLRB)
Handling demand letters, investigations, audits, and internal reviews
Leading employment litigation-primarily single-plaintiff, with potential for class/collective matters
Advising employers on compliance, wage & hour, handbook and policy review, workplace investigations, and risk mitigation
Developing litigation strategy, drafting and reviewing key work product, and representing clients in hearings, mediations, and trials
Supervising associates and contributing to training, thought leadership, and cross-office initiatives
Collaborating with national practice groups across multiple offices
Maintaining and growing an existing book of business
Some regional travel may be required for client meetings, hearings, or mediations.

Compensation
Partner Compensation Range: $300K-$600K+
