As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor access points and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a strong, visible presence. You will interact with visitors and staff, deliver exceptional customer service, and respond to access control needs. What You'll Do:

• Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or security-related incidents.
• Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and assisting visitors as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Follow all emergency response procedures as outlined for the government facility.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and/or site staff to support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Have 6 or more months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
