Job Description

Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring all equipment and machinery is in good working condition. Also responsible for making repairs and performing preventative maintenance while following all company policies & processes. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on the machinery and building, as needed
• Must know and understand the emergency procedures in the event of equipment failure
• Repair equipment as needed due to breakdowns
• Responsible for overseeing maintenance of the facility and all equipment.
• Must work closely with production to ensure that all product is produced in a timely manner with the highest food safety and quality standards.
• Proficient in electrical and mechanical work and troubleshooting.
• Ability to troubleshoot all motor controls such as HMI's and PLC's.
• Ability to diagnose automation components such as HMI, PLCs, I/O, VFDs.
• Be able to identify communication systems on automation devices.
• Ability to do basic programming of PLC's.
• Ability to design and implement ideas and innovations to successful projects to increase equipment efficacy, safety, and reliability.
• Sanitary welding a plus but not a requirement

Experience

High School Diploma or (GED) is required. Technical or vocational degree in related fields and bakery experience is strongly preferred and/or a combination of education and relevant experience. 3-5 years of related industrial maintenance experience is required.

Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
