Job Title: Busser and Event Setup Crew Member - Operations

Location: The Bell Tower on 34th

Full-time/Part-time 12.50-$14 per hour

We are seeking energetic and adaptable individuals to join our team as Busser and Event Setup Crew Members at our esteemed event venue. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities and requires candidates who are not only quick on their feet but also available on nights and weekends. Fluency in bilingual Spanish is a definite plus.

Responsibilities:

1. Event Setup:
   • Arrange tables and chairs according to event specifications.
   • Set up staging and props, including TVs and the piano, as needed.
   • Ensure all event spaces are impeccably prepared before guests arrive.
2. Table Bussing:
   • Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently after guests finish their meals.
   • Collect used dishes, glassware, and utensils.
   • Ensure tables are clean and ready for the next guests.
3. Dish and Glassware Handling:
   • Safely transport used dishes and glassware to the dishwashing area.
   • Assist the dishwashing team as needed.
4. Trash Removal and Cleanup:
   • Take out trash and break down boxes to maintain a clean environment.
   • Mop and clean floors to ensure cleanliness and safety.
   • Ensure floors are clean and dry to prevent accidents.
5. Team Collaboration:
   • Work as part of a team, coordinating with colleagues, chefs, bartenders, and event planners.
   • Maintain effective communication to ensure smooth operations.

• Previous experience in event setup, restaurant, or banquet operations is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry props and equipment as required.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a particular emphasis on nights and weekends.
• Fluency in bilingual Spanish is a definite plus.
