Accounting Specialist

Himmels Architectural Door and Hardware has provided quality products and services in the commercial door and architectural specialties industry for over 40 years. Himmels is a growing family-owned company with locations in Nashville, New Orleans, Prairieville, Houston, and Dallas, TX. We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team in Dallas, TX.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000

Job Responsibilities

• Complete invoicing and process monthly pay applications using industry-specific software.
• Submit billings through multiple customer websites.
• Scan and file electronic copies of all project-related documents.
• Communicate with Project Managers and customers regarding updates on all projects.
• Assist with Accounts Receivable and Contract Controller tasks when necessary.
• Proficiently utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 3 years of billing experience.
• 1 year of accounting experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and a positive demeanor.
• Ability to routinely lift and move objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screen and random screening where applicable.
