Clayton Services is searching for an Inventory Clerk to join a thriving automotive dealership in West Houston. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate vehicle inventory records, processing titles and MCOs, and coordinating with acquisitions and auctions to ensure vehicles are properly stocked and compliant.

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $19.50/hour

Inventory Clerk Responsibilities:

• Stock new and used vehicles into the dealership inventory system
• Track and follow up on vehicle titles to ensure timely receipt
• Coordinate with auctions and the Acquisition team regarding purchased vehicles
• Verify, process, and manage MCOs (Manufacturer's Certificates of Origin) and used vehicle titles
• Maintain accurate inventory records and resolve discrepancies
• Conduct inventory audits and lot checks as needed
• Ensure all inventory documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant
• Other duties as assigned

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and data entry
• Effective communication and follow-up skills
• Familiarity with dealership inventory systems preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Automotive dealership inventory or title experience preferred
• Working knowledge of MCOs and used vehicle titles required
• Familiarity with auction purchases and vehicle acquisition processes
• Experience using CDK preferred
• Valid driver's license required
