Primary Purpose: To work cooperatively to ensure safe and efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid Texas Driver's License

Experience:

None

Special Knowledge and Skills:

Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions

Ability to use standard/basic tools

Ability to use and operate material handling equipment

Must possess good people skills

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Assist with receiving, pick up, & delivery of district equipment, supplies, & materials
2. Provide assistance for district event setups and takedowns.
3. Provide assistance with delivery of District textbooks.
4. Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner
5. Assist with the inventory & warehousing of District fixed assets
6. Provide assistance in preparation for & during T.I.S.D. surplus auctions.
7. Assist with the assembly and repair of District property as directed.
8. Present an image of professionalism and develop good working relations with all District personnel.
9. Maintain warehouse work areas in a neat and organized manner
10. Demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to perform any duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

Working Conditions:

Strenuous walking, standing and/or climbing; heavy lifting and/or carrying; pushing, reaching, kneeling, repeated bending or stooping. Work outside and inside; exposure to hot and cold temperatures; excessive humidity; exposure to dust, toxic chemicals and materials; slippery or uneven walking surfaces; work on ladders; work alone, work with others, and wear personal protective equipment as needed.

Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt
