Job Summary

The Warehouse Team Lead at JD.com will play a crucial role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of goods, and leading a team to achieve productivity and quality targets. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to operational excellence within a fast?paced e-commerce environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse associates, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training and guidance.
• Ensure accurate and timely receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products according to JD.coms standards and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently, and conduct basic troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., logistics, customer service) to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
• Implement and enforce JD.coms quality control standards for all inbound and outbound shipments.
• Generate daily/weekly reports on team productivity, order fulfillment, and other key performance indicators.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Conduct performance reviews for team members and provide constructive feedback for development.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a dynamic environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem?solving skills.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, reach trucks) with valid certification preferred.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs.
