Stock items on the shelf ensuring they are properly marked with correct part number and rotate as necessary.
Notify appropriate departments of any discrepancies and/or problems with material.
Operate warehouse machinery in a safe manner and report any equipment maintenance or problems to immediate supervisor
Expedite overdue and missing parts with appropriate department.
Prepare shipments including boxing, weighing, labeling, and consolidating orders.
Submit prepared material and proper paperwork to the shipper for actual dispatch to the customer.
Pull parts for transfers/manufacturing/sales and document all material transactions.
Keep the warehouse clean and orderly.
Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous work experience in warehouse environment and/or inventory control preferred.
Computer skills required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ability to pass a drug screen, physical, audiogram, vision test, and background check.
Overtime will be required - must be willing and able to work extra hours and/or weekends.
Must have a strong attention to detail.
Able to work well in a team environment as well as self-directed when working independently.
Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and procedures.
Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties.
Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.
Factory environment with large range in temperature changes.
Ability to stand, walk, bend/stoop, push/pull and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
