We are currently accepting resumes for a WMS Business System Analystposition in Torrance, CA.
This position is Hybrid. Onsite - 4 days a week
Travel: Yes - 10% - Ad hoc, as projects demand
Overtime: no
Salary range: $135k-$145k

Experience with Aldon, DBU, or Python will be an advantage

The selected candidate will perform the following duties:

Daily Tasks Performed:
• Successful candidate will assume the role of WM systems SME and assist the Project Manager and/or Team Manager on various Parts Applications projects.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and create and manage the completion of units of work completed by the successful candidate and other team members.
• Assigned units of work vary from ?100 hour enhancements, up to team member on a large project.
• Responsible for gathering requirements, functional and Detailed analysis/design, testing (unit, integration, system, user acceptance), implementation, documentation, warranty.
• Defining architectural solutions to meet application requirements.
• Providing status to Project Manager/Lead, as needed.
• Analysis/Design roughly 30-40%, Development (code, unit test, int test, system test, UAT, Implement, Warranty) roughly 30-40%, Architectural solutions roughly 20-40%

What will this person be working on

Candidate will serve as WMS SME for project

Position Success Criteria (Desired) - 'WANTS'
• Functional expertise in WMS PkMS v2003
• Technical expertise in AS400 technologies including RPG IV programming, CLI programming and AS400 file/DB configuration
• Good understanding of retail ordering and warehouse business functions (Preferably Auto Spare parts business)
• Good understanding of MQ and FTP integrations
• Must be able to understand AS400 journals
• Good communication skills
• Experience with Aldon and DBU will be an advantage
• Basic understanding of TMS functions will be an added advantage
