The SHSU Department of Art Galleries are hiring for the position of Gallery Attendant. The position offers up to 20 hours per week. Requirements and duties are listed below:
Requirements:
- Students must be a declared SHSU art major
- Student must have a GPA no lower than 3.0
- Student must be willing to work weekends and evenings as needed
Duties:
- Greet and monitor visitors to gallery during open hours
- Assist with art installation, de-installation, and gallery repair as needed
- Follow all University and gallery policies during working hours
